Fredricksburg-proper and surrounding is getting way too crowded with tourists, etc. Not too far away is Boerne and Bandera which are still nice.

Roger that . . . when the time comes to research we'll start near Georgetown and work our way towards Fredricksburg. Kerrville has possibilities too.
