Logistically those actions were taken so that Danica fans could have the best experience possible. The experience of the fans of the other drivers obviously didn't count. As far as building up their own popularity, it's kinda hard to do when all the IRL does is push Danica into every advert and article on their website and in paper. It's hard to do when you win a race but are forced to wait outside while the press interview the ninth place finisher. It's hard to build your popularity when the IRL is focusing on the rapidly dropping girl in the field while you're on your way to winning the race of a lifetime. They aren't jealous of the attention. They are angry at the fact that the IRL says they are supposedly pushing Danica so hard because it lifts them all up but then turn around and shove everyone but Danica back down in the next breath.

Yep. I suppose they don't have the ability to hire publicists to advert them or their team. Heck, it would probably help them get more sponsors. I suppose if they aren't happy, they could move to CART or any number of other race series.

These whines are one of the reasons I can't convince myself to become a fan. However, I have been warming up to the IRL, all because of Danica. I guess you would prefer that I stay away from the series and leave the room for you true fans.
