That really surprises me. I thought your winters there would be alot worse. I guess because your so far north.

Our temperatures are milder because we are very near sea level and near the coast. Since the ocean and Puget Sound remain 58 degrees all year round, it tends to cool us in summer and warm us in winter. 1-2000 feet up, an hour from here heading East toward the Cascades, of course, the get snow that stays all winter. Eastern WA, on the other side of the Cascades, has snow that will last all winter. The West side is milder.
