He's still in the hospital... unfortunately, and he's really tired of being there. They are quite concerned about the infection worsening, and are going to keep him at least another day.
Really he feels pretty good and his pain is much less, so he was quite disappointed to not be able to go home.
He's tired of the whole thing and I feel bad for him. I think the worst part of hospitals is that everything seems to be in slow motion, hours of waiting, no one knows how long till anything is supposed to happen. And as of today, they still weren't letting him eat.
I brought him my copy of LoTR.... always a good time to re-read that. What he'd most like is to get up and move around... and then to eat. He might get to eat by tonight, if they decide he won't be having any more surgery.
