SPINNING THE DIAL: Spooky Art Bell told listeners to his weekend show that he's cutting back to an every-other-Saturday schedule, with Ian Punnett taking the Sunday edition and weekday host George Noory taking every other Saturday. The weekend and weeknight versions of the show air on WISN-AM (1130) at midnight.

Noory is also reflexively anti- common sense, for want of a better term.

I remember one of his "try out" shows. He clained to have a ouja board in the studio and all the PCs were crashing
because of it.

I thought to myself, "Craig Kitchin(sp?) strikes again".

He did such a great job with the previous selection of Mike Siegal.

Rolle James? She filled in for Art? She's on XM now. I've seen the name. Same channel as C2CAM, iirc.

I never bothered to really listen to her, since I know
nothing about her.

Be nice if Noori took a hike too. Sick and tired of his Bush bashing.

Rolley James was on the air in Philly. She was the biggest supporters of the Adamses when the powers that be tried to put Don in jail.

Pretty soon she was run off the air.

Don't know much about her now, but she ws the most intellegent talk show host ever! Bar none!

Don't have XM.

Have you listened? Is she a good host?

She would just do music on Friday nights!

Ian is a very interesting guy. I guess losing his cat was more than Art could take.

Don and Terri Adams were a sister and brother at a protest Clinton rally in Philadelphia.

Clinton had union goons at all his rallies and this time the goons singled out Don and beat him horribly.

The powers that be tried to put Don in jail.

It's so beyond comprehension, even to this day, I can't fully explain what they did to Don and his sister.

Art Bell is very engaging. He has a talent for making the most absurd subject sound interesting for 4 hours.

Noory, on the other hand, is the perfect cure for insomnia. I am usually sound asleep within 10 minutes of Noory's monologues.

What's wrong with Art Bell, did he say why? I noticed that this weekend are going to rebroadcasts.

Chris is sure better looking than Art. Irrelevant for radio, but still.

I dunno, my mother thinks Art Bell is hot looking. B-) Still I'm going to miss Art but at least he ain;t out of the picture entirely.

Without Art hosting, Coast to Coast isn't worth listening to. I got a feeling I am not going to be able to remember when to turn it on to hear Art. So I am done with Coast to Coast unless they get Barbara Simpson back on. I just can't stand any more of that republican hater George Noory.

I don't quite get that look from George Noory although if you want a conservative, Christian dissenter, try Whitley Streiber. He went apecrazy a week or two ago about how the Christian outlook is dooming the planet with global warming. I do find his experiences with aliens interesting but when he goes into "we are all going to die if we don't address global warming mode," he loses me. Babs Simpson wasn't all that bad either. I think where Art is great, he knows what questions to ask due to him being technical and engineering minded. I love it when he has Wayne Green on, noted amateur radio operator and publisher, although Green goes off the deep wnd when he talks about diet and that we did not land man on th Moon, personally, if he stuck to amateur radio, it would be great.

Yeah, I heard he lost Abby. I know what it is like, I have 8 cats, 10 total in my life and I lost one in 1994 and Muffin, my Burmese cat, in 2004, in fact, today (July 9th), we lost her a year ago exactly. I know it is hard to take but you have to go on with life. My oldest is a grey, tan and white calico with green eyes, Pansy, she will be 18 in August and still is going strong, loves to play and is active like a 2 year old.

I do think it is more than that though.
