SPINNING THE DIAL: Spooky Art Bell told listeners to his weekend show that he's cutting back to an every-other-Saturday schedule, with Ian Punnett taking the Sunday edition and weekday host George Noory taking every other Saturday. The weekend and weeknight versions of the show air on WISN-AM (1130) at midnight.
coast to coast ping list
I thought Chris McGill did a great job last night. He ought to be on more often.
With over 20 years of experience in the Louisville Radio Market, Chris McGill served seven years as a traffic anchor and operations manager for Skyview Traffic, which later merged into Metro Traffic. Its not by accident that Chris is such a natural at the mike, prior to traffic he worked as a DJ for WQMF-FM, KISS 104 FM and WLRS-FM. Chris is now Mid-West Regional Director of Operations for Clear Channel Traffic and afternoon traffic anchor for WQMF, WTFX, WJZL, WZKF, WFPK and WFPL Radio.
Off the air, Chris spends much of his time with his wife Ronda enjoying their hobby of Paranormal Research. Chris is an active member of PROOV (Paranormal Researchers of Ohio Valley) and has been involved in the research of paranormal events for over 10 years. Some well known locations investigated have been Locust Grove, Loudoun House in Lexington and the Christmas in Kentucky store in LaGrange just to name a few! Chris has also been featured on WDRB-TVs Fox in the Morning, WHAS-TV 11 News as well as the Francene show on 84WHAS Radio and in Velocity Magazine.
Chris is currently the host of Dimensions Radio, a weekly show about the paranormal and unexplained. You can contact Chris at email@dimensionsradio.com.
Maybe the powers that be felt he was getting TOO CLOSE to the truth...</sarc>
Bring Back the Babe in the Bunker! ;-)
I miss when Art was on every night....I used to take the LOOONG way home just to get a chance to listen to the show.
On a related note, Alcoa has announced the closure of one of its' US plants based on the announcement of Art Bell. Officials at the foil producting plant said that demand for their product is expected to drop over the recent announcement.
Chris is sure better looking than Art. Irrelevant for radio, but still.
Without Art hosting, Coast to Coast isn't worth listening to. I got a feeling I am not going to be able to remember when to turn it on to hear Art. So I am done with Coast to Coast unless they get Barbara Simpson back on. I just can't stand any more of that republican hater George Noory.
There was less foil being used for Art's shows. George Noory is a total wack job. If anything, they would be opening more tin foil plants now.
I liked that time that Noory spent nearly an hour saying he wasn't partisan.
I hear he's getting radiation treatments on Mars every other weekend so this is why he is cutting back.
I wish I could have heard that.
I always sleep through the show.
I was pretty disappointed on Saturady night (sunday morning) when in his first hour he had on the lead singer from Grand Funk Railroad. I was like wtf??? I am not 20 anymore I cannot stay up much beyond 3am since I get up during the week at 4:45am.
Me too I got my Grand Funks and Doobie Brothers mixed up. I thought for a second Art landed Jeff Baxter for a interview. Now that would have been worth the interview time to me.
Agreed. Art had a certain way with the nutters, kinda like a doting grandfather. Noory is like grandpa's hyper dog that always humps your leg.
Only having Art on twice a month is really gonna suck!
Fine, Thanks! Hope all is well too. :-)
This could mean more airtime for Linda Moulton Howell which I'm not so sure is necessarily a good thing. lol
Barbara is a classy act indeed, The Babe in the Bunker. A news trooper to the core.
