I just bought System of a Down's "Mesmerize"

I'm 49 and find that I like the same music as my teenage sons.

I was always a classic rock fan but after hearing "Stairway to Heaven" and "Hotel California" for the 30,000th time I had to move on.

If the performers can play some sort of instrument with REAL singing included, I jazzed about it. RAP has neither. Luckily, a few old-school bands are still touring...

The New Foo Fighters, is damned good.
The New Three Doors Down is palatable.

Went to pick up the latest collective soul, wallflowers and third eye blind cd's a couple of days ago...
sold out.

Must not be too shabby either.
