I sometimes wonder if I would have had that courage. Not to hide Jews - I would have done that. But, the courage to survive the camps with a heart towards all I came in contact with. I'm not sure I have that kind of faith. And of course, the wonder of Corrie was hearing her tell that she didn't have it always, either. She learned, as we all do, through situations trusting God. An amazing woman.
I'd like to have known her father - he must have been some guy. The legacy he left his children is amazing.
Interesting contrast, isn't it, between the wonderful, forgiving woman we've been discussing, and the pathetic, hateful tripe posted immediately above.
