Bill's big help-Hil E-mail bid
BY KENNETH R. BAZINET
DAILY NEWS WASHINGTON BUREAU
WASHINGTON - Ex-President Bill Clinton is asking his wife's supporters to fill her campaign war chest by midnight tomorrow, maintaining it would send political observers a powerful message more than a year from the Senate election.
Clinton's E-mail appeal to members of the Friends of Hillary claimed his wife is atop the GOP's hit list, but she can still wow supporters and defy critics by reporting a huge haul of campaign contributions by the June 30 filing deadline.
"The mid-year Federal Election Commission report is the yardstick that the political operatives and pundits use to judge what kind of shape candidates are in for the 2006 elections," Clinton wrote.
So far, an A-list GOP opponent hasn't emerged, but the ex-President noted his wife "has already been singled out as the Republicans' No. 1 target for defeat next year.... When 2006 is over, they want Hillary out of the Senate."
Clinton added, "Chelsea and I are so proud of Hillary and what she is doing."
It's not the only time Team Clinton has done a last-minute fund-raising E-mail, but it's the first time it has come from the ex-President, the campaign said.
Hillary Clinton told the Daily News it wasn't too early to roll out a big gun like her husband. "I think there's going to be a lot of money spent against me by many, many sources," she said yesterday at a Capitol Hill event.
A longtime Clinton insider acknowledged that hefty contributions could scare a GOP name player with a base of support - like Westchester County District Attorney Jeanine Pirro - from jumping in the race.
The campaign refused to say whether this quarter's donations would top the $3.9 million raised the first three months of the year.
.... According to historian Joel A. Ruth, a Voodoo sorcerer, supplied to Clinton by the exiled-by-coup John-Bertrand Aristide, once put a curse on incumbent President George W. Bush, "by manipulating a doll made in the presidents image." ....
Clintons friendship with Aristide, a former Catholic priest turned Voodoo practitioner dates back to 1991 when Aristide, ousted in a coup, took up residence in Washington, D.C. Joining the cocktail circuit and networking for the political aid needed to help restore his power, he soon found his way within the inner circle of the soon-to-be Democratic presidential hopeful Bill Clinton.
As time would tell, Clinton paid more than a politicians lip service to the practice of Voodoo. According to the Haiti Observateur, "During a March 31, 1995 visit to Haiti under Aristides restored rule, Clinton took part in a Voodoo initiative ceremony intended to keep him impervious to Republican attacks and to guarantee his re-election." (FrontPageMag.com, Feb. 20,. 2004).
No Voodoo ceremony could ward off Monica Lewinsky and the rest, as they say, is history. ... rest of article

I was kidding, it's not really a Kaballah bracelet:
BOGOTA: For five years, BILL CLINTON has worn a bracelet given to him by a group of Colombian children who sang and danced for peace. When the former US president visited Colombia on Wednesday, he finally took it off - only to replace it with a new one. "When I go to Africa, Middle East, all over the world they ask me about this bracelet," Clinton told a business leadership forum in the capital, Bogota. Clinton said it gives him strength as it reminds him of the courage of the Colombian people in the face of violence and suffering inflicted by the South American nation's 40-year-old civil war. source
What a load of tripe.
I truly do not understand this "friendship." They cannot possibly be any more opposite, let alone all the vile things the clintoon's have said about the Bush family. Who knows.
I don't either. Certainly Bar and Poppy don't appreciate the crap Bill 'n' Hill have spewed about their son, the president. And who would want to play golf with that cheater, anyway?
Exactly. I could forgive them for saying stuff about me, Maybe, but NOT for attacking my son.
"And who would want to play golf with that cheater, anyway?"
Not me. Sheesh, giving up the bed for Poppy couldn't have meant That much? Sigh...
Conrad Hilton would be having a fit about these people if he were alive. Talk about tasteless and classless.
You just can't find a good manicurist nowadays, can you (no matter how much $$ you have)?
He actually got the bracelet in 2002. By my figuring that makes it three years (almost to the day as one article cites "June 27, 2002"), but all the stories today are saying he's worn the thing for five years.
New math?
Amazing what the press finds worth reporting when it comes to the Big He.
Speaking of nose candy, pay no attention to my stalker in post 267. I just toss him some gypsum and he goes away for a while.
Publicists Confirm Affleck-Garner Marriage, Pregnancy
POSTED: 12:10 pm EDT June 30, 2005
UPDATED: 2:59 pm EDT June 30, 2005
It's official: Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have tied the knot.
Representatives for both Affleck and Garner confirmed the marriage to The Associated Press on Thursday. The publicists, Ken Sunshine and Nicole King, also for the first time confirmed that Garner is pregnant with her first child. Sunshine, who represents Affleck, and King, who represents Garner, would not give any other details.
According to the National Enquirer, Garner, wearing white, sealed her union with Affleck Wednesday evening on a sandy beach on the Turks and Caicos Islands. With the sun setting, her co-star Victor Garber reportedly watched as Garner, 33, and Affleck, 32, embraced and kissed, according to the report.
"Access Hollywood" has learned that the couple is staying at actor Bruce Willis' house on one of the islands.
Affleck and Garner co-starred in the 2003 comic book movie "Daredevil," where they played Daredevil and Elektra, respectively. They began dating in August 2004. Garner was previously married to actor Scott Foley. The couple divorced in March 2004. Affleck was previously engaged to singer-actress Jennifer Lopez, a relationship widely followed by the media. The couple broke it off in 2003.
Garner and Affleck's courtship, on the other hand, has been very private. The couple has only been spotted together once in public -- at a Boston Red Sox World Series game in Boston in 2004. source
That article is FOS. Nobody can write a book or whatever and attach a meaning to any particular object or action and say that that has the same meaning to all of us who may have a dream with that object or action in it.
Lighten up, buckwheat, if you plan on being here for the duration.
Duration? Like I care?
I hope he didn't throw his back out.
