Killed my car, fried some wires in the 'daytime running lights/ignition' loop.
In my car, the daytime running lights are rigged through the ignition.
Well, if something 'odd' happens and the wrong amount of voltage somehow goes through the wrong wires in that loop, your car will not start but you'll still have headlights and everything else.

What you will have is 'fried wiring' smell and smoke rising from under the hood on the driver's side.

Dang GM's. Turn the dome light on and off 5 times to disable the running lights in daytime.

Or do like me, drive a Ford.
