There's literally a dozen emails, but here's the latest, from the LT who received the Gerber. He also contributed to the Hobbit Hole project, already.

This is 1LT Craig W. I just received the knife today....WOW!!! Those are about the only words I can use to describe this thing. I have a flight tomorrow morning that I will have some time to play with this while we're in the woods. I will definitely give you some feedback!!! Already I am amazed that you folks are giving this quality of equipment away. I know word has spread like wildfire about these knives that the 4 of us have received. I hope we don't overwhelm your resources. I am planning to get some folks to donate to the cause, and I don't think they will mind the least bit. Again, thank you very much. It's a good feeling to know that we have people like you supporting us on the homefront. I will be sending you reviews as I get to use this knife!!!!
Thanks winmag!
It never ceases to amaze me how they can be so grateful to us when it is ~us~ that are so grateful to them.
My tagline says it all...
"Corin"The knife came in today and it is just beautiful, pretty technical, too, with all the straps and attachments. I was glad that I had looked at the website so I recognized the harness/shroud line cutter. (I would hate to be an ignorant mom.) I have copied the website with the picture of the knife and harness cutter to send to K. When I spoke to him on Tuesday, he had just gotten the letter telling him about your organization and the knife. He was very uplifted to know that you were supporting him.
I will keep J in my prayers, and I guess I should pray that you can successfully maneuver a ladder without any help, too.
Many blessings and thanks again for all the support for K,
"K's Mom"
Evening Winmag, great letter, thanks for posting it. Getting the right stuff to the right people at the right time.
