The deputy yells "How's that? That better?"
I made an open armed 'praise the Lord' type gesture, and then yelled "IS THAT YOUR TRAILER?"
The cop said "I gotta go now, see ya later!"
The trucker guy smiled and said, I'm sorry ma'am, I didn't realize it would bother you, do you like seafood?
I said "sure I do"
He opened up the truck and gave me two pounds of frozen shrimp. :~D
He said the truck would stay cold just fine till morning without the generator. And he made me promise not to just help myself to more shrimp.
He does live just down the street.
