He seems to tolerate the joint supplement, which is the long term one.

He didn't pull away from me this morning, but growled and started to snap. I don't think he's afraid. Just stubborn.

Well, stubborn I'm familiar with... ;~D

Logan used to clamp his mouth shut with all his might and refuse to open, but once I got my hand in there he'd rather die than bite me.

Homer just panics over any kind of forcible medicating... he squirms and cries and fights like we're trying to kill him. But when we were trying to inspect his ears during the infection, we pushed him pretty hard and he never acted like he was gonna snap. We were treating him pretty timidly until then, because we didn't really know him well enough to know what he'd do in a panic.
