We saw that recently. I found it amusing but more... "uh, what?!" amusing than "HAHAHAHA" amusing.
Good evening! How are you today?

nite...
Goin' soon myself. The only thing keeping me up is the thought of actually having to stand up and walk upstairs.

It grows on you.
Enjoyed a quiet day at home here. Just finished watching "Anchorman" and "I, Robot" on HBO/Cinemax. "Terminator 2" just starting...

Hi Ruthie... make sure you whacked that bug good, because sometimes a single whack just stuns 'em for a while.

Heh, I love T2. T1 has, IMO, a better story, but T2 is cool.
I, Robot wasn't bad as long as you make the assumption that it's not going to be anything like Asimov's story. Making Susan Calvin a babe is just wrong.

It had elements of Asimov's stories.

Yeah. The Three Laws. And, um, robots.
No, I'm being unfair and it was a fun movie but they didn't have to claim it was based on anything Asimov actually wrote.

Also the idea that the 3 Laws would inevitably lead to a robotic tyranny. Of course, in Asimov's stories it was a lot softer than what was shown in the movie.

Say, that's a funny 80's movie you could rent... "Raising Arizona".I ~heartily~ second that recommendation! Somewhat strange (like most Coen brothers films), but it's got great characters and hilarious dialog. Nearly as quotable as Princess Bride.

Same character really...questionable character, bad hair, lots of resources, obsessed by the precious/treasure...Heh, we're watching Ronin on TV right now. Add incompetent, and he's still the same character.
To: JenB
Ah, I now see that you have seen it already. I guess it is kind of an acquired taste.
