Miss Cat got to the vets on time.....I miss her! *sniff*

Aww, poor Miss Kitty. You did the right thing, though, you know you did!! She's at the best place she could be for what has to be done. And this procedure will insure a longer, and much healthy life for her. Short-term pain for long-term gain. The time will go really fast while you're gone on your trip; the problem will be when you get back and time d r a g s 'til you can go pick her up.

Don't know if you listen to the radio on the weekends, there is a law show on 980 right now called "Handle on the Law". People call in with legal questions and he answers 'em. "Marginal legal advice where I tell you you have no case" is his schtick. Pretty funny stuff, if you need a laugh.

Have a great time on your trip; we'll try to get some rain in here for you. LSA

I'm not cooking or going out for dinner. I just had the rest of the watermelon in the fridge.

I think the main course is popcorn.

Don't think I could get on board with wholesale nuking, not when we've got smart bombs that can take out exactly what we want to take out.

Just drop a load of hog waste on that rock they like to walk around.

*Sniff*

This isn't the iodine treatment yet. She has to finish her Tapazole and then she gets a blood workup and we'll take it from there. She's going to get one of her booster shots too.

I get back kinda late on a Wednesday night and will pick her up Thursday morning.

Watermelon is very good for alkalizing the blood! (another theory for staying healthy, and it's working for me, as long as I ignore my cholesterol level!)

I also picked up some more red wine today. Think I can submit it to my Medical Reimbursement account?

Whoops, Corin, the post on blood was by LSA, who is on OB's account. OB doesn't worry about blood chemistry and his cholestrol level is very low; you could double his level and it still wouldn't match mine! LSA

I had watermelon and popcorn for lunch! Mmmm...

Dinner was leftover chicken and cherries. And now coffee with Carolans. Life is good.

Oh, that's right!! Well, anyway, it's still for the best. And since you get to pick her up Thursday, it won't be that bad....

Wow...I hadn't realized you were gonna be there all week. Glad you get a decently long visit with Hair and Ecurb!

I'd miss my kitties too, though. Especially Tam. He's nuts, but I love him.

We've got three field sites to visit: on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (finishing up at the Friday site on Saturday.) Then it's back to Portland so I can get a rental to drive to Hair's place.

Watching Bakshi now....

You a glutton for punishment?

We really should do a Bakshi chat/view someday. It'd be painful, but sharing the pain could mean it'd actually be fun.

Actually...it's pretty similar to PJ's version. You can tell that PJ made the same shots that Bakshi did and it doesn't deviate from the story tooooo much...

I just don't like the animation....and the horse dance is pretty weird.

Is it Bakshi that has Gandalf milking the giant invisible cow, or was that Rankin-Bass?
