I think you are!
Got it updated. Is the CQB3 a new one, that was not on there before.
That's the "official" name for the "Black Ops". Either name is fine.
I gotta start writing more for the HH site. Just not enough time to both write and work on knives.
I used both. ;~D
I understand about not having time to write more. I actually have plenty more content to add myself... Such as add some pics for WeddingMoot and ShootMoot, and smaagee sent us a disc of pics from Saddam's palace, and add some of the recent testimonials.
It's back to work. Ugh. Still have work at home I'd rather be doing.
We painted the family room on Sat. and had the Monty Python marathon on. It got silly at points. Carried on further with more home dec - curtains, pictures, flower arranging. Big'ol has it in his mind that we're going to entertain the fam on the 16th and wants the first floor *finished*. We'll see.
Chauffered the inlaws to the DMV. To my horror, both got their licences. Also drove to the kennel to fetch their new Welsh Corgi named Joey. The breeder needed to use him for one last fling over the weekend. The little fella is very cute - in a strangely-proportioned sort of way. The breeder had a big whelping pen of puppies. One of whom had a cramp in his leg and yelped unless he was held - or so the lady said. I think the little guy was just spoiled. :) So I had to hold him while the breeder and Big'ol filled out paperwork. He fell in total love with me. *sigh* What can I say.
Hmm... what else. Made a cheesecake. Put up 6 baggies of peas - portioned for two people and 9 baggies of green beans. Dumb garden is *still* producing. :) Read books #5-#7 of Stephanie Plum. Must go get the others soon. I have no idea what I'm going to do with myself once I get all caught up to her most current book and then have to wait a year for the next one. *shudder* don't want to think about that.
Izzit time to go home yet?
We thought it was pretty lame.
Lots to do, lots to do...
I'm sorry I missed the birthdays on Sunday. ~sigh~ Well, better late than never!!
I'm off to grab coffee and oatmeal. I've got at least 50 people to enter into the system for today's payroll. *shudder*
Happy B-day, btw!
Izzit time to go home yet?
Butt thread?
mmmmm....home...
mornin'
Good morning all!
Belated Happy Birthday, Corin And Suziq!
Here's the deal. I want to drop both the cholesterol meds AND the meds for acid reflux. I'm concerned that if I go back to thedoctor with the above symptoms, he'll give me something to treat that.
What's my best resource for formulating a diet/nutrition routine to deal with this stuff.
And, more importantly, can I just stop taking these meds?
Saw Hitchhiker's Guide yesterday...
I found it fairly funny, a bit confusing, visually stunning.
Joshua found it extremely confusing, but so visually stunning that it didn't make any difference.
Matthew and Steve found it hysterically funny and visually stunning. Things that made me chuckle just had them in tears. It was a lot of fun just watching them!
For $2 (total) we really had a good time. It was the first time we've ever gone to the movies, our entire family together.
Depends if you have the good ones, or the bad ones.
If I were you, I'd be trying to find an alternative to taking a bunch of pills for life, too.
Good morning!
Sounds mostly harmless ;~D
It's an excellent choice to take the jedis to...it seemed very well-made, fun and had less risque comments in it than "A Bug's Life." As a matter of fact, I can't remember any...maybe they were above my head even, if they were there. Bug's Life makes me sick.
Yeah - there shouldn't have been any language or sex in it.
I really can't wait to see it again.... when it comes out on DVD.
It was very straight-forward...I didn't catch a bunch of innuendo or comments with double-meaning.
I mean, if you're gonna make a comment with a sexual connotation, say it outright. I can handle it. And if you can't say it outright in a kid's show, then it probably shouldn't be commented on at all.
FWIW, this does not apply for PeeWee Herman. I don't consider ANYTHING with PeeWee Herman for kids. It's an adult show that is PURE innuendo and that's what so funny about it. It's clever.
The innuendo in most "kids shows"' that Disney put out is just lame. Makes me say "Oh Puh-leeze."
There are good side effects?
Best I can figure, the cholesterol meds ~could have~ caused Friday's fun.
Goodness! My meat chickens are not supposed to be able to fly! Just stand and sit. But one of mine just flew out of the tote on the porch!
Granted, the tote is not very high...the other chicken was actually peering over the side looking at the one that got out, who was just standing there on the porch looking a bit perplexed.
I put 'em in their tractor under the shade tree. They're very healthy and much more active than I thought they'd be. They like to have the area right below their crop scratched. I don't like them flopping around when I'm trying to carry them (they aren't tame like the hens) but if I scratch them below the crop while carrying them, they don't flop...they actually whistle softly! LOL
