Glad you could make it! That was good...been too long. Hope we weren't toooooo silly for ya...
Was very fun! Please schedule us in for next week, TT, definitely EE this time! Unless we were too weird...
General Chat is a general nuisance.
Let's hear it for the bicyclist! :) Glad he represented us well. So glad you all got home safely. If it's any consolation, your cell probably wouldn't have worked out there anyway. Mine never does when I'm out in the woods around here...
I'm amazed by all the stories my Dad has told about "almost" getting stranded in the back country with automobile issues. Somehow, he always manages to get home though, just like you two!
He has an Error. Guess we can't be *too* hard on the guy. But I wish he'd get himself straightened out.
Really! Everybody's got issues.
Was great fun, except for that General Chat fella. What a pain!
Silliness and weirdness is all part of the fun, of course! I will try for next week, though I may have to join you part way through, have a big cycling event that day.
Don't get a flat tire!
Night, again!
They make a little (well, not so little) thing for tandem-wheel trailers. It's a small ramp with a "low spot" in the top. You pull the trailer onto it, with the good tire on the ramp. That leaves the other tire up in the air, where you can work on it. You don't have to jack up the trailer.
Don't forget to get some roadside triangles, and maybe some warnining strobes, for breakdowns. And one of those combination battery-boosters with air compressor could work out nicely, too. All stuff I could have used, at one time or another.
Some FRS/GMRS radios are good for keeping in touch in a convoy, or while trail riding, if someone gets separated. And don't forget some firepower if you stumble across a meth lab.
Where's the coffee?
Looks like we've got another round of showers headed our way.
OT - Good Morning, nice walk to the store for the 'fishwrap'; looks the showers are heading our way again but we're ready since the grass was cut last evening. Is today the 'fan installation' day? Be careful.
fI'm waiting for some good sunlight so I can see what I'm doing.
The mounting bracket is up and the motor assembly is put together (all except the blades). So all I have to do is mount the fan in the bracket and make the electrical connections. Then I can put the blades on.
Oh. And I still have water standing in the yard. No grass cutting for today. :)
Luckily I have a lot of moss in the front so it doesn't look too ragged. I don't think they complain unless it's over 8" tall.
Thunder in the distance [sip].
Looks like the showers ~ may ~ be heading a bit south of us. hmmm. That means the weed n feed needs to be done with drop spreader instead of the broadcast spreader. Same result but the drop spreader takes a lot longer to do the yard.
Coffee consumed and Gypsy walked sooo "We're Burning Daylight"

It's starting to rain.
Got a second cup of joe and watching a movie. [sip]
Whooohooo. We're done JUST as the rain started. Yessss. (Raining pretty good too) Dang, I love it when a plan comes together. :-)
I knew we should have had you make our list of stuff to have with us next time!
We have a little air compressor, It just wasn't with us... it will be now! We sure could have used it on the spare.
Morning Hair - Y'all planning on 'further adventures' today? Once you get the tire fixed, that is.
Sky appears to be clearing, hmmm. Humidity.
No adventures today!
Monday I'll take it in and find out if the rim is wrecked too.
And we want to have them pull the spare off and look at the 4x4 switch gizmo... it came off with the original tire, and we had to put it back on... it didn't appear to have a particular orientation, but we want to make sure we have it set in there correctly so it engages, and disengages, correctly.
Heh, sounds like a good idea.
I didn't know the 4WD indicator comes off with the wheel. 'Course, haven't messed with them since the days of Warn Hubs and Manual Transfer Cases iow, early 70's.
