I love watching dressage! The amount of training that goes into it is unimaginable. I used to think it was boring, until I watched western pleasure. It reaches new heights of boring.

Not boring at all, if you have an interest in the rider and are there for support.

I'm really getting into dressage and have been for the past year, and I can't get over how intricate it is and all the things that you can make your horse do with just your body position alone-from the way that you breathe to the way that you stiffen or relax different muscles. It's really amazing. But in doing it, I've noticed how much of a better rider that I've become, and in fact when I first started riding with my new trainer, I honestly thought that I had learned how to ride the wrong way. I'd really recommend dressage lessons to anyone. It really improves your seat and your balance, beacuse dressage all about balance and relaxing and moving with the horse.

I used to think so too, until I started learning dressage. Now I could watch it all day long!!!
