Sassy got out and I had to run the length of one field to get her. I carried her back and boy did she weigh a ton! On trying to grab her to stop her getting out, I got a shock from the horse fence which is right by their kennels. OUCH! Right across my bare lower back!

Sit back and relax awhile now before you have more serious pet-related injuries!

Bassett pups are adorable. I look forward to seeing them.

The dogs ears are even longer than in the photo as they were still growing! I don't know what it is with my animals but I do seem to nurse broken bones and bruises quite a lot! : )
Bassets are very adorable though, and I am looking forward to the pups being born. : )
