Is he running to get to a stall?

First I'd try, (and you may have done this), open his pasture first, so he isn't in a race with the others. May take him a while to figure out, but it might slow him down.

Or, I'd leave him there to feed him,,,but,,,feed all the others first, and not feed him till he is standing quiet if he's freaking out at the gate waiting his turn.

Other then that, I wouldn't know what to do other then halter him.

Now this is what's weird, when he first starting doing this, he would fly through the gate and take off somewheres else, running all over tarnation. Since I separated him, he runs to his stall. When he was pastured with the other horses, taking off running all over the place, the other horses followed him.

I think I will leave him there to feed him, when he's standing quietly. If I do that a few times, it might do the trick!
