I want to go back this weekend (and still may) Eddie says the next one. He tells me to add up all the hours I spent and compare it to how long it would have been here. Not the same though. The horses seem very happy there. They just get nervous if one taken too far away from the other though. Yawn. Let me go get my camera:')

Everyone loaded and ready to go. Sarah lee was a basketcase. She didn't want out of the pasture or to go in the barn. She jumped in the trailer though. I think the attempted floating really scared her bad.

OOPs. The wheel was dragging and we had to change balls.

Finally

We stopped to eat and noticed we had a low tire. We went to Walmarts across the street. It was 103. They loaned us a jack and bumped us to the top so the horses wouldn't get hot and no kidding but we were back on the road in less than 20 minutes. I called and reported what a thoughtful person the clerk was.

Glad we were going east instead of west thru Houston.

So close but so far. We limped in with flashers.

Everybody tired and hungry

Sorry but I don't think I have any picks of me. People "forgot" Anyway, I walked Okie around the fence Sat morning. Sarah Lee was tied at the trailer and did a little neighing. We then tied Okie and Eddie walked Sarah Lee

He was acting so pathetic, that I let him go.

I will refer to my horses, the rest of this picture story as Adam and Eve!

The wire wasn't up yet. I stayed behind monday while the guys went for supplies. It was like chasing two year olds and of course where ever Eve went Adam followed. Sarah Lee independently exploring and Okie wasn't letting her get too far away. After running them out of this little area of building supplies when they had a whole pasture 3 times I finally got a lawn chair and guarded but as you will see that didn't work either. This area now fenced off.

This area now hot wired off too. The entire pasture and she wanted over here and behind the house.

Remember those mistakes I was talking about? Well, I was right behind her. She didn't get any of it but it wasn't for lack of trying. In all these pictures her side kick is right behind her.

C'mom Okie!

My BIL and Eddie "planning". We all road Sun morning and evening but just at a walk and in the pasture. We rested them Sat and even though she seemed ok we wanted to go slow with Sarah Lee.
