Here's an interesting competition we just found on TV. It's a slalom jumping event, where two riders ride head to head in a mirror image course. Best time with fewest faults wins the matchup.... Then they race other winners. The courses are fast and short, 4-5 jumps. The skill test is that there are opportunities for very tight turns and shortcuts between fences.
