I talked to the house vet. Rabies are separate but he recommends them in this area. He has to give it though, as you say. He's gonna bring me 2 W Niles when he comes out. I don't really know what the big deal is though. It's not manditory so why the records? They didn't get it last year.

You might want to ask him about EPM. I vaccinate all mine for that too. I've had a couple of friends lose horses to that.
