Yeah, she picked him up this past Saturday. He's doing fine, but he did dump her the first day she tried to ride him at home. I don't know what the problem was, other than I never rode at home, or maybe her saddle felt different. She had no problem when she rode him on the trail ride with her saddle. She said she'd saddled him up and went to get on and he bowed up and went to hopping. She was totally unprepared since he'd been so mellow when she'd ridden him before and she landed flat of her butt. I sure hated it. The guy who trained him said he did that with him a few times when he first started him, but that if you let him walk around for a few steps after tightening the cinch but before getting on, he was fine. He never did it to me and I didn't walk him around, so I don't know. She said she caught him and went to get on again and felt him bow up again, but this time she smacked him on the shoulder with a crop and he settled down. I think he was just trying her. She'll have to watch him for a while to make sure he knows she's in control.
