She does several a year, and she also travels all over the country and gives clinics. She is going to be here in OK this summer for like a 2 1/2 day clinic. She has a web site you can find out about them.

They have a tack store, and restruant next door to the arena, I'll have pictures of it later.

I'm not kidding if you, The place is beautiful. But more important is the fact that anyone could learn at one of these things. We had a lady in our group who was a very very beginner rider. I don't know that I would reccommend a barrel clinic to such a beginner, but even with her, you could see vast improvement in her riding EVERY time she went around the barrels. Her run on Fri was done at a walk, and by Sun. she loped a little and cut her time down by 41 seconds. Every time it was her turn to do anything the instructors worked with her so well. They never seemed impatient to be working with some one so green.

Even if you don't want to run barrels, this thing would benefit anyone. Once ayear they have a 7 day clinic. They do alot more there then just barrels. Once you've been a student there you can also go once a year to a big reunion where they have a big barrel race.

At these 3 day clinics they give a very nice saddle away, and about 25 halters. My girls both won a halter on Sun. run.

I think the friendliness of all the workers, and the organization of this place is just incredible. It really is being run first class. The "newest" employee they had there had been there for like 10 years. And Martha and her husband were always around, and actually did alot of the instructing. It was miserably hot and humid there the whole time, and she always had a long sleeve western shirt and black cowboy hat. I don't know how she did it. She's probably in her late 60. And she still competes. She would have went to the NFR last year but she got hurt bad right before and didn't make it.

It's really great to be able to attend something so well organized and run. They must be very nice folks at heart. Wish I were ten years younger, I'd love to go to something like that. Physically, I'd not make it now.
