Everyone I knew, that owned an Australian stock saddle, ended up selling them. There are not as comfortable as they look. The complaint was, that they held your body way too straight up. With all those rolls, you cannot go with the movement of the horse. Personally, I never rode in one. The most comfortable saddle I ever rode, was a plantation saddle. My Big Horn cordora is pretty comfortable, but I really like it, for the light weight.

Thanks, that is what I had heard too and the reason I bought the Western saddles.
