Well, I'm waiting to hear from my friend Tiffney. She came over and borrowed ecurbh & Cyn's Hackamore last night to try on her filly. They were going on a trail ride.

She wants to try it on a horse that's had a rider three times, also on trail. Last time she only had a halter and lead rope on her and wants more control.

My friend is one of those remarkable people who is beautiful, strong, brave, and has not one ounce of common sense. She's my 'whoop and go' friend we went on the trail ride with before that was so hard.

The thing is, I tell her this isn't the way to do things, that she isn't really training by having that filly follow along, that she really should back off and do some arena work before she gets hurt, and she says "you know me, I hate arena work". The thing is, she almost always gets away with every crazy thing she tries. She's crazy and charmed ;~D

This is Tiff on her nice ole Arab mare, on the trail ride last year.

I just hope if she kills that filly in a wreck somewhere, she pulls ecurbh's bridle off and brings it back. We need it ;~D

Honestly, I hope life always works for her and she never gets hurt, and that I never try to think I can live the same way and get away with it '~D

Normally people can't get away with crazy crazy things like that. Her and that filly would be better off if they get some ground arena work done and get the basics down where there are less scary things present. Everyone hates arena work, but it's necessary. Especially with young horses, but I'm preaching to the choir here, I think! :-) Hope that everything works out, and that she returns that bridle in a timely fashion.
Right now it's HOT, and I'm trying not to melt as I work on my new desktop and Freep at the same time.

She sounds like a lot of fun!!! I bet I would not get away with being like that either if I had a horse. I would probably kill myself.

I think God takes special care of the folks that don't have the sense to take care of themselves.
