Those are GREAT photos!
Ah I see! Well, particular kudos getting those babes into a straight load trailer... that's even harder than I was picturing you doing!
Thanks!
ROFTL with the shhh's! Oh dear!
They really are great action shots of the ride...
...and the bride and groom look gorgeous! :~D
Well It went really well and I think was a great experience for the colts because it went well. : )
We have put Smokey and Sugar in the big field now and they are getting along great! No problems at all. Both have the best personalities. : )
It just feels a little..........."empty".........round here.......
I'm in for lunch from mowing and cleaning the yard. We had a good rain and now the sun is shining nice, and there is a nice wind. Kids should all be here around 5 for the festivities.
Great pictures square:). Love the shhhhhh part:).
Rose, I'm glad everything went all right. I know your sorry to see them go, but you'll like it the first time you have to go feed, or buy feed:). No great loss without some small gain, as Ma Ingalls always said:)
Becky
Rose - how about turning your attention to selling some of my horses :)
Have a great Fourth of July everyone.
Thanks for the link to the pictures. Those are so great. It's too bad, she can't use a rider. I really like the endurance race ones. I have been away all weekend, and just got to see them.
These birds are Lokiteets. You could go inside with them, and feed them nectar.
This looks like someone's front yard.
This was one strange animal. Opki or something like that.
A few shots of fireworks last night. Hard to capture with a digital.
She's the one who we had to put down when she was about 7-8 mos old. She slipped on ice and broke her shoulder. UC Davis said they could put a pin and plate in and fix it, she would have to be stalled until it healed and then allowed only to walk, not run for the rest of her life. I couldn't bear to do that to her, she lived at a run and would have had to be stalled her whole life to prevent her from running. She was TE Prom Queen, sired by Prez before he was gelded. Her dam was my riding mare.
Wonderful pictures. You're right, one strange animal, what did it's head look like?
LOL I have had enough of selling horses!
How many do you have now? and NO I dont want one! LOL
Just having the two means that instead of spending all our time going through the horses taking care of their needs we can be saddling up both horses and riding. Deaconjim on Smokey and me on Sugar. I will try and get pics of them in their new field for you to see their size difference!
They seem VERY comfortable with each other. Not one skirmish!
Puppies are doing well too, I will bring them in in a few mins as this is the hottest time of the day. I check them over, we love on them some and then let them sleep for about an hour or so. When they start getting noisy, out to Moms they go for milk..........by this time the shade is a lot heavier and the worst of the heat is past. : )
Great pictures:)
Strange animal indeed, made me think of some of the strange creatures you see in the Star Wars movies:)
I don't need anymore snakes:). The ones I've got have been plenty. I've been watching for them all morning while cleaning up the yard and garden.
Becky
That animal head looks like a moose/giraffe/elk combo. It's closest relative is a giraffe. It was so nice to see how large the areas are, they keep the animials in. So much better than all being cooped up in cages.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
