I like the way those fit around the pastern, but the sole of them looks funky. Is it just the picture, or are the built up? How are they when you go thru water, any way for it to drain compelelty out?

Speaking of pictures, I got a couple of good ones of Bob yesterday. Here he is doing the "Spanish Walk" imitation he does when he's impatient about anything, usually when he's eating, but here because he was tired of me taking 10 million pictures of him tied to a trailer...

He's bad.... but gorgeous! :~D

I think that's a pair not each. I'm pretty sure they run a little over $130 for a pair.

You all are chatty today. I am so sleepy. I don't know if I can do this 11:30 stuff once a week:). I'm going to have to go make some coffee. I'm suppose to ride with the paint horse lady tonight.

They are built up a little but they do drain out.

Do they need time to learn to walk in them? How long does a pair last?
The Boa Boots I bought were suppose to last a long time. The one that broke would be easy to fix, so if you averaged out the price of the boots with the price of shoeing it came about even. i wouldn't have to have my horses trimmed probably not at all unless they developed some kind of problem, crack or chip. Barefoot horses around here keep themselves trimmed with all the rocks.

Sonny doesn't seem to mind them at all, although he hates standing getting them put on. They are supposed to last a long time, we've had them about a year now I think.

Here is a link to current wildfires in the US. Our Sheriff gave and interview to the paper yesterday saying that the eleven wildfires we've had in the past week or so are arson. I had suspected as much. Heaven help the person starting them if the police don't catch them before John Q. Public.

I think that's a pair not each. I'm pretty sure they run a little over $130 for a pair. Oh ok. I saw the Qty of "1" and assumed that meant for one boot, instead of one PAIR. I think easy boots are priced by the "each" so I guess that's why I thought that. $130 a pair isn't quite as bad...still expensive...just not as bad. Of course if you can stop spending $45 every 8wks for shoing and just trim or rasp the horse yourself, you could soon make up the difference.
To: FrogInABlender
I'm paying $75 every eight weeks for shoeing here so they quickly pay for themselves. In addition, it gives protect to the soles of the feet in rocks and gravel - which we have a lot of.

Very detailed map. Very interesting!
We drove through that whole area this spring on our trip, from Las Vegas to Kingman AZ. It was so lush this spring with grass and wildflowers tall enough to bale. I can see why it's so risky now.
Surprised to see a bunch of current fires in Alaska.

How many miles do ya think you've put on 'em so far?

Congratulations! Eagerly awaiting pictures!
