This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.
I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!
I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and Becky pings everyone most mornings. Let Becky (Paynoattentionmanbehindthecurtain) and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

The rain has stopped, it's overcast and 61 degrees.
I would like to see some 60 degree weather here. We don't even see the 60s at night anymore. It's downright sticky.
Hey 2J. How do you send pictures in e-mails with a Mac? We have a yahoo e-mail account. I clicked the attach file button, when I get there it says if you don't see a browse button you can't send files. I don't see a browse button:). do you have this trouble?

Hmm....I've never tried to send attachments through yahoo...not sure.
Will check it out here in a bit...see if I can figure it out. I'm on our PC right now.
Well if it's alot of trouble don't worry about it. It's not that big of deal.

It's no trouble...most the time I'm on the mac anyways and constantly checking my yahoo mail. I am uploading some pictures to post in the Hobbit Hole and the program is on the PC. I'll get booted off the PC by a game-playing jedi any minute!
Well thanks, anything you can figure out will be appreciated.
They are pictures of my neighbors that I went on a ride with. She has been driving me nuts wanting copies. I can't print pictures, so I told her I would e-mail them to my son in law who can. I also told her he was working nights right now and it would be awhile till I got them for her. But she wants them NOW:) She called with an e-mail address to another friend of hers who will copy them for her immediatly. I'd like to get them for her so she'll leave me alone about them and darn I don't want to tell her I can't e-mail them now. I use to be able to send pictures with the old computer, but I can't use it anymore. Mack doesn't want to take a chance of loosing any of his business stuff on it, so we don't hook it to the internet anymore.

Ok...when you go to send an email...you click on compose, right?
Right under where you put your subject, it says attach files. Click on that and it should give you a list that says "File 1" then blank, then a "browse" button, then "File 2" then a blank, then "browse" button.
What browser are you using?
Another thing is this...you can post them in York (do you have a york account?) and then "share" them with her and she can make a york account and access them that way.
