*New* The FreeRepublic Saddle Club - Who's Who *pics*

This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.

I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!

I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and Becky pings everyone most mornings. Let Becky (Paynoattentionmanbehindthecurtain) and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.

So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

I got it out of my yahoo photos. is there a better way to post from yahoo photos?

The only way I know how to post is to put the picture in snapfish.com and take it from there, or if it is on the internet (as in yahoo maybe), right click on properties, right click to select all, right click to copy and then paste in the comment box. Add < img src = " in front of it and " > after it with no spaces.

If you look in the pictures section that Hair and her hubbie have created you will find their directions for posting pictures. They make it a lot clearer than I can :)

View your album with the pic you want to post in it's full size (not the upload or thumbnail view), and type in the code like I describe here.

Ok, that is what I was dong before, but I cannot seem to get a full sized photo from snapfish and when I put the code in, it is not working anyway. I do know how to post a picture though. Not the uploaded and thumbnail view from snapfish? What do I do, go back to my yahoomail?

You have to click the album, that will give you thumbnail views of each pic... click the thumbnail to see the full size photo, about 4x6 or so.

It took me ages to post pics on here, I finally got it! My daughter wanted to post something (age 10 at the time) and I briefly wrote down the code and told her to try it. She managed to post it first time! Grrr. LOL
I always ask her to get the tops of the childproof medicine bottles for me too! : )
