I wanted to discuss WHY so many freepers love Ann so much.

One of the reason I love Ann is because she has so much courage. She was one of the first to expose Bill Clinton as a crook when she wrote High Crimes and Misdemeanors. And she has had the courage to reveal the revisionist leftist history that smeared Joe McCarthy. And she speaks as a conservative on college campuses.

It's a lot easier to be a leftist because the right plays fair. They do not throw food at leftists and they do not control the media and have the power to shut you out of the publishing business.

You are right, some people can't see past the miniskirt but Ann sees things that others don't. For example, consider this column Ann wrote of how the hideous events at an Atlanta courthouse illustrated proper place of men and women:

The purpose-driven left

Dan, this might surprise you but I think NOBODY does it better than Ann in PRINT.

Her books are wonderful. Most of her columns are wonderful.

She's wonderful during a heated election period on TV. It makes for great TV when Ann is taking a liberal apart, piece by piece.

But there is a time and place for every thing and on Ferguson's show, it was a time to step it down some and to just be like a normal person.

It was an entertainment show, but she turned it into a battlefield.

I sincerely doubt Craig is a leftist. I watch all the time and in my opinion, he's not a leftist.

He bashed the French, stopped an old man from bashing Bush twice, he's said how much he loves America and wants to be a citizen, he prefers red state America.

So far, even the obligatory political jokes are mild and funny, not cruel in the least.

I don't think Ferguson had planned to "attack" Ann. Why would be refuse to let the President be bashed, but go ofter Ann?

I truly don't think Craig was out to get Ann. I think he was surprised by her hostility.

Tell me something, does Ann have any friends or a lover?

She seems lonely and a little bit unsure of herself in relations with other people. This is not a flame. I'm trying to understand her.

Is she sort of a loner?
