Thank you SO very much for your support of W! I cut off my tithing to Calvin many years ago. Evidently, I did the right thing. You have been added to my "hero" list.

"I served to protect their right to be IGNORANT AND STUPID."

A beautiful line.

PBS had a piece on it this afternoon saying that a third of the Calvin faculty protested the visit. I must say that doesn't sound like the Calvin faculty that I know. I imagine they are exaggerating or lying.

It is interesting that younglings and the unborn are prominent in Star Wars Episode III -- both are important to any good conservatives and to most God fearing people.

If we can't protect unborn children in this country, we fail the the most important words in the constitution -- life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Without life, and with the massacre of the Unborn in this country, I think George Lucas sounds more like George Bush in his storyline for Star Wars III.

For life for Luke and Lea is important in this movie.

And what about the dastardly killing of the younglings -- is that not like Partial Birth Abortion or even what some of the modernist professors propose -- a two year warranty on babies. If babies are defective in the first two years, you can kill them. So some very prominent professors claim -- friends of the Clintons -- literally.

If the code of the Jedi is not to kill a defenseless opponent, then what of killing the defenseless life in the womb. Many of the Judeo-Christian heritage are unaware that Jewish tradition only allowed three things to be buried in a Jewish cemetary -- human corpses, the unborn that did not survive birth or were miscarried, and sacred writings (Torah).

Abortion is murder and the 5th Commandment.

That is why Exodus 21:22 is so important to the Constitution -- it translates into that if men that are fighting injure a pregnant woman but she gives birth to the child, the the fighting men shall be fined. But the subsequent passages specify that if either the mother or child is injured, then it is life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, bruise for bruise...

That is why Jesus never spoke of abortion -- it was covered by passages in the Torah or Old Testament.

However, it was necessary to tell Gentiles that these things were wrong.

There was a writing called the Didache that dates to the time of the Gospels. But this was incorporated into Church Teachings about the 4th Century. [It also forbade the infanticide]. But if the killing of younglings in Star War III is so horrible, then what of killing defenseless babies or the unborn in the womb -- with a beating heart and brain activity.

We must be Pro-Life if we are to be true Jedi and protect human life.
