Has anyone seen a picture of an airplane in any maps captured by Google Maps?

Yes, just a few weeks ago I loaded google.earth.com, and I was looking Henry Ford Museum/Greenfield Village in Dearborn Michigan, I caught what I believe to be a Northwest Airlines jet (MD80? engines are near the tail) headed to the Detroit airport. The red bodied jet appears just North of the Ford Proving grounds in Dearborn, about to cross Michigan avenue, heading Southwest.

I just checked google satellite image maps, the same photo appears, but the maximum view doesn't show the jet as large as google.earth does, you can zoom in to about 800 foot "eye view" on google.earth and see the jet very clearly, to zoom in any more than that the photo pixels distort the view. (FYI: you need high speed connection to use google.earth.)

For those of you that have google.earth, the coordinates for the Northwest Airlines jet on Google.Earth;
42deg 18min 51.25sec N x 83deg 12min 23.69sec W
