Personal car history:

1. 1970 Buick LeSabre 4-door. Dad bought it new, gave it to me in 76 when I was 17. Nothing like driving to High School in your Dad's Buick.
2. 1974 Triumph Spitfire. Fun to drive, when it ran. Died after 11 months.
3. 1976 Ford Granada. Don't ask.
4. 1965 VW Beetle. Paid $500.00, drove for three years.
5. 1984 VW Rabbit GTI. Fast car, fun car, ate tires.
6. 1988 Dodge Dakota. Sold in 1998 with 105,000 miles. Guy I sold it to is still driving it.
7. 1989 Dodge Colt. Bought it for my wife after we got married in 1990. Blew the computer in 1996 and again in 2000. Gave it away to the Dodge dealership.
8. 1998 Chevy truck. Wife totalled it in 2000.
9. 2000 Chevy Silverado. Good truck, still driving it.
10. 2000 Chevy Cavalier. Kept it for 4 years until it got too small.
11. 2004 Chevy Impala. Love it, but since it's the wife's car, don't get to drive it much.

Ford Thunderbird (1986) - Just got a new job and had to show off

Ford Taurus (1998) - Finally paid off the Thunderbird, drove it a few more years to get my money's worth, and traded it in for something I could afford

Ford Taurus (2001) - Might as well stick with something affordable AND familiar

1. 1970 Pontiac GTO (Dad liked GM) - totalled it the day I paid it off
2. 1976 Toyota Truck 4x2 (the love affair with Toyota quality begins) - Drunk driver totalled it while it was innocently sitting in front of the house
3. 1978 Toyota Corolla - After a year traded in for Celica (impulse buy)
4. 1977 Toyota Celica Fastback - Sold for personal reasons
5. 1980 Toyota Celica - traded for a Land Cruiser (hangglider vehicle- impulse buy)
6. 1972 Toyota Land Cruiser (needed an engine overhaul but still ran okay (smokey, but okay) - traded for a Corolla when the Air Force made me move
7. 1980 Toyota Corolla (100K and no problems)
8. 1984 Toyota Truck 4X4 - hang gliding vehicle, 160K and no problems (sold in 1998)
1998 - current - company Fords...ugh
9. 2004 Toyota 4Runner - The wife gets to drive it as I'm still in Alaska driving company Fords

1988 4 Door Ford Taurus while wearing suit and tie () - You're probably going to bother people at their door about religious magazines few people care about.

And an F-350 is a ladies truck! :)

I love my 2004 F-350 FX4 crew cab with the 6 guns and a 6 inch lift. It makes the boys cry!
