Thanks.
Understood.
Hoping this troll finally goes over the edge.

I truly well and hate the enviros now, especially after having been one.

The enviro wackos have. Farmers in some areas are not allowed to work their whole farms because some city slicker, who knows nothing about farming, found a puddle of water and called it a wet land. The green enviro wackos have taken away a lot more freedoms, than just from the farmers. How about the lack of oil refineries, because the enviro wackos have put so many rules and regulations in place it it cost prohibitive to build new ones.

I spent the last two months talking to people from the business community about global warming

Well isn't THAT special.

You're out of your league Sweetie. Some of us here have been following these issues for 30 years.

I challenge anyone on this board or anywhere else to provide names and addresses of ANYONE anywhere who became an expert on any issue in 2 months.

Now that we know that we're dealing with a self proclaimed expert, who acknowledges he only has 2 months of study under his belt, I suggest strongly that we ignore any further posts.

I believe it was Will Rogers who said: "Never argue with an idiot, because they'll drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience".

I am going to follow my own advice. And I'm going to call room service (HA!) to order more KoolAid. YELLOW KoolAid.

Really.
If it grasped reason and logic, why does it roll a ball of crap around backwards?
The allegory fits, as you keep rolling the biggest ball of crap anyone has ever heard of, and you keep going around and around backwards.

How true...how about Oregon's economy? The whacko's chain themselves to dead and dying trees so they can't be cut. No matter how many times they are told that trees are a renewable resource, the disagree.

The heart of the enviro movement is communism.

And one has to look no further than Russia to see the unbelievable ecological damage caused by the Communists.

The Ukraine used to be able to feed the Soviet Union and provide revenue from exports. Last I checked, the Ukraine today is a net importer of food grain. There are vast reaches of nuclear and chemical pollution in the interior of Russia that may, for all practical purposes, never be cleaned up, insofar as natural processes would take hundreds of thousands of years.

But they were caused by Communists. Beyond what came out right after the fall of the USSR, you see zippo in the "mainstream" media today.

Yes.
There's a lake in Russia that is so toxic that geese landing on it die within seconds.
But according to the enviros, the commies 'understand'.
*wretching barf*

According to the enviros, it's all evil capitalist industry and the desire to own things that is evil.
That shows quite well the essence of the enviro movement to anyone who knows what communism espouses.
But, as you said, the media keeps willingly silent on things.
Heck, the only time ELF or Earth First get mentioned is when they burn down houses, not when they murder people, destroy vehicles and equipment, or assault people to 'get a message across'.

You whined when China was mentioend as a polluter, and a bigger polluter than the US.
And when it was shown to be fact, you got remarkably silent.
Another one of your 'not enough time' moments, rigth?

Wow. I've never seen someone over-reach and simultaneously mis-interpret something to quite that extent! Did you pull something?

No. You said it.

With any emerging, complex issue like this, the best you can get at any point in time is a probabilistic assessment, based on the existing material - some of which points in one direction, and some of which points in another.

"Some of which points in one direction, and some ... in another."

Sorry, there it is.

As I said, you made my case.

I knew if I kept at it long enough, your argument would have to become a pretzel.

Bravo!

I am going to go more potting soil, but I anted to stop by and say President Bush just spoke on the capture of al-Libbi.

Call me crazy, but I think there is more up his sleeve. Just a feeling based on how he looked.

Back later.

Still rolling the ball of crap around I see.
Tell me, what about the territorial aggression of said species?
