"it was so dull where I came from"

Dull is good. I can't stand having things going on around me all the time. But it is good that not all people like the same things. If it wasn't for folks like you who actually like *shudder* all that hub bub, the rest of us would never get any peace and quiet because city folks would always be disturbing it.

Accept for being a singer I don't make much noise, I don't like ball games because they are too much noisie and these are played everywhere across America as well as auto racing etc.to disturbing for me...

What I mean by dull is flat land for miles, hills were rare and every thing looks alike, along with clone homes, fast food & box store community, which has stamp all across America!

Many of the buildings in NYC are of the turn of the century and or early 1900's you can get lost in Central Park surrounded by nature and go canoeing,

Everything you have I have just a few blocks on either side of me to the West I have Riverside Park and to the East of me is Central Park and these are more than parks because of all of the things they contain! One of these days I will get a scooter to hit the trail again!:)

What ever I want I have it all be it in country setting, or a viberant city, Sharkepeare in the Park by the Belvedere Castle

Shakespeareg Garden

Hans Christian Anderson

Or the Philharmonic and Opera on the Great lawn!
