Thank you Westy,
Looks like the kind of day we have here today.
One of my BoyScouts was skatboarding down a hill and bashed his head open last week, he got up and was OK for about ten seconds, then he collapsed and went comatose. He died on Wednesday. They harvested his organs and boxed him up for a funeral today, both my daughters knew him well. I'll get the one out of school early and the other will meet me at home, and we will have a grave-side service under skies about like what your picture shows.
Poor mother, losing a son in the prime of his life.

Can't you tell this VI (?) don't know what that is) that your children needed to clear it with you first to see if you had other plans for this summer....
That person should have known better in the first place to remind the children to see if it ok with you folks first!
That was inconsiderate of the VI person!

Good luck with the VI's. There is no shortage of VI's around here either. I've already had to run off a bunch of them that think my yard is a bike path. There is not much worse than ill-mannered children, except for ill-mannered children without any sense. I like kids, but when I am off work, I don't want to see them, hear them or otherwise deal with them if it can be helped, and certainly not some of the ones from that trailer park!
I just found out last night that Tyler's dad and stepmom are getting a divorce. That really worries me because his stepmom is the one that is on top of things with the kids. I worry about how another divorce is going to effect Tyler, too and what's going to happen next. So far, I haven't been able to get any answers because I can't seem to get a hold of anybody. This development could change my summer plans significantly.

Ah yes, that was Laird Thompson.......big wave rider extraordinaire.
He's your height FYI. Famous adventuror, rich, and gets paid to surf daily. Extremely talented and creative.

Wouldn't doubt it. He invented the concept of towing by waverunner to catch waves that were too big and broke too hard to catch by paddling.
That caught my ears and perked them up....."too big to catch by normal paddling".

Yeah, those of us in the 'short' stature range tend to have to be twice as crazy as regular people to stand out.
