"The female voice, sometimes depending upon tone and pitch, can sometimes be thought of as music itself."

Then there are others whose voices are like fingernails on a chalkboard. I could give some examples, but I don't want to spoil the moment...and the memories.

yeah, I've heard women who have, what I consider, a masculine voice....my doesn't sound that way...and I'm glad. I once worked with a woman who sounded that way and she was often thought to be a male when speaking to someone who didn't know she was a she...it always upset her.

then there's others whose voice is very funny to listen to; I'm thinking of Goldie Hawn in some of her characters (like Laugh In)....that show was a hoot...I watched it as a child, of course not knowing the political undertones....the humor was pure enjoyment to me....my other fav show around that time was Carol Burnett show...Tim Conway always had me rolling in laughter.....then, of course, there was I Love Lucy (with Desi)....those were a riot, too.......*sigh* oh, the good old days

*UNNNGH!*

Yes, the voice of 'nails-on-chalkboard' is instantly painful.

Though I have heard unmistakeably feminine voices that were rather... deep and sultry.
They had that hypnotising buzzing drone to them that makes you shake your head clear every few seconds and ask for teh question to be repeated.
Quite distracting.
(Much like a good typical range female voice that resonates in your head and the words aren't clear but the voice is attention getting.)

Bit of advice for any guys reading along, never admit that you didn't catch what the lady said because you were merely listening to her voice.
Good way to end up wearing your drink despite it being somewhat of a compliment.
"Excuse me miss, but would you mind speaking as your voice is exquisitely pleasant to hear?"
*bzzzzzt* -Tasered!

it's coming along.....I'm right now working on the corners...then the top is done except for the borders, lol. Sweet of you to ask, though I know sewing more likely than not is far from your interests in life. : )

Of the nice S words I like........sewing isn't real close to the top.....:-)

On the other hand, I know a work of skill when I see one, and good sewing is just that.
