I suspect (and hope) that site is an elaborate joke. If the creators of the site actually treat those poor kittens they way the site describes, they should be stuffed into little glass blocks.
It is, completely, tongue-planted-firmly-in-cheek. I remember horrified phone calls I got from friends when that site first appeared on the 'net -- girls were quite literally crying, thinking it was real.
