Wish I could sleep, please someone, tell me what is like.
ANOTHER Dr's appointment next week, going to fun the ole scope to see if any blockage has occurred in my heart, all kind of electronic tests yesterday. Of course I am the voice of doom, he started telling me about where he would insert the whatever to see about blockage and course the first thing I started thinking, 'hope I make it'. He is not concerned, I am, my heart, my life.

It is natural to worry about these things Toby. but the tests are pretty routine & pretty pain free. I know, it is easy to say when it is someone else's body/heart/problem...
Well, it is Jemian, you & I.. we need a fourth for bridge... AFPHYS.. you up?

He is not concerned, I am, my heart, my life. This jumped out at me...so elequently put, my friend. His unconcern you see as indifference and/or purely a mechanical "problem" w/you as just a body that needs some tuning up. Another way of looking at his seeming callousness might be that he is confident that the procedure will be successful. He, however, needs a tune up in his own bedside manners. Why not tell him that and have the satisfaction of seeing a concerned look on HIS face?
(Please forgive me if I have taken too many liberties here in commenting on what you are feeling.)
