Our power was off 16 hours on Sat & about 4 on Sunday.(true)

I have floods in my basement (that is ongoing)... it is a lot of fun to use shop vac & haul it up each time it rains heavily..(true)

we had a lot of rain, but not as much as you all obviously. We also had 6 inches of new snow.. but not as much as Buffalo/ - which I heard had 2'.. yuk(true)

I love winter (LIE)

Well, we had four days of hard rain not too long ago, and that didn't all drain off before the two recent bouts of rain.
This area, being marsh like to begin with, had nowhere for the water to go.
*chuckle*

We're due for more rain from Thursday thru to Saturday.
If you're north or west of me, you're going to get nailed by it as well.

Those closest to the Delaware, Neversink, and Hudson rivers were hardest hit so far, or so it appears.
Info still coming in at the moment.

Pine Island, in what is known as 'the drowned lands', you can jetski on the onion fields at the moment.
Not that ne would want to.

I like winter too.
(I'm likely to be bundled up and dragged off to a mental ward for that last line! Everything else is true.)
