I spent a couple of weeks over at du, before getting booted. I have been in the belly of the beast and it is scary over there. I have never been exposed to thought patterns as convoluted as the ones that I witnessed there. The only thing that I could think of is "L-O-S-E-R-S", my G_D what a bunch of losers. Over here the left is pitied and toyed with. At du, we are HATED with a passion bordering on psychosis.

I used to post there before getting thrown out.
You should have seen the reaction I got from the thread I posted highlighting the good work of the US snipers in Iraq.
The first line of the article was a quote from a US sniper who had just killed an insurgent: "His head exploded like a watermelon."
You would have thought that our soldiers were German SS agents torturing Jews in concentration camps by the reaction I got.
Not long after that, they tossed me out.

2 weeks? Sheesh, I get ill after looking at their site for only short periods. Just looking at the little pictures next to their posts (rainbows, Dean, Che Guevara, etc.) lets you know real fast that you're in enemy territory.

I've visited there, but always felt like I needed to scrape stuff off my shoes afterwards. Two weeks should qualify one for a medal.
Seriously, it seems they are waiting, longing and looking for a hero, someone on a white horse to lead them ... somewhere ... followers in other words. Kinda sad for them.

As long as the DU wing has any control in the Dimocratic Party our country is safe. I want these wack jobs to write every word of the 2008 platform. The DU crowd is so far from the mainstream of America, and so badly without a clue, that it is amusing.

Looking at threads from DU, is akin to submerging one's self in the lowest pits of hell.
It's NOT someplace we, the sane, can read much of, without 1) feeling filthy 2)finding the denizens of DU quite made/stupid/lost. But we should know the enemy.
