As someone who has left twice and returned twice I have to say that what I'm seeing is a different FR. There are other alternative out there now. I never thought I'd be called the names I've been called the past few weeks. And then, I call someone an A**, and I find I'm suspended. So what does that tell you about what's acceptable here and what's not. Just keep reading down and you'll see the tone and the mockery we're being subjected to. It's just not worth it.
I don't need to, thanks. I'm one of the ones doing the mocking of you whiners. You think this is something new?!? Something that just emerged because of Terri Schiavo's killing? What a laugh!! As I said, we go through this nonsense every year or more. And there are NO better alternatives than this forum.
FR was better before the moderators arrived.
It is an online forum. I get called named all the time and don't run home and leave.
Toughen up. I am sorry you were attacked as much as you were, an I bet I played a part due to how emotionally wrapped up I got in the issue last week, but getting called names is no reason to leave.
Also, I doubt there are other conservative forums with as many posters as FR.
I can't BELIEVE what I am reading! if it is so AWFUL just close your eyes, walk away, click on another thread, heck go shopping online, grab a cup of coffee, read a book, pet your dog, whatever!
The hyperbole about this almost trumps the hyperbole about whichever issues are driving FReepers apart! Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
