Hewitt was right. We are a nation of laws. Surely Jeb Bush would do whatever he could do within the law. Just because liberals ignore the law when it does not work for them, does not mean that we should. If anyone knows of a law that would allow Jeb Bush to act, I suggest you call his Attorney General. If Conservatives do not stand for the rule of law, then who are we to complain when the other side doesn't either?

No, we've become a nation of judges who disregard the law -- and of wimpy politicians who won't stand up to them (and sheeple who give the wimps a pass - if they have an R after their names).
Greer is killing Terri. Jeb should do something about it. He won't, and he's counting on sheeple like you to make excuses for his inaction.

Yes, but are we a nation of Judges too? Does the executive have no role in enforcing the law--or is he only an instrument of the Judiciary? What is the answer???

Hewitt was right. We are a nation of laws. HH is very selective about WHICH laws we need to enforce. He's a roll over on sovereign borders and the illegal alien invasion, a hand-wringing whiney country-club republican when it comes to enforcing THOSE laws.

No, he is wrong. Judicial opinions are NOT law. They are routinely given the effect of law by executive police enforcement. If SCOTUS ordered the execution of all the Jews and disbanded Congress so they could not be impeached or declared impeachment of judges unconstitutional, would George or Jeb Bush enforce it? NO! Having established that all judicial edicts would not be enforced, it is only a matter of where the line is drawn.

The rule of law says a woman, who has not commited any crime, or hurt anyone, must die.
Just sit and think about that a while.
Me? I reject that notion unconditionally. Otherwise I would find it difficult to argue against thowing children into volcanoes, if that is the law, because not to would be unlawful.
And mindless.

Just because liberals ignore the law when it does not work for them, does not mean that we should. Actually, they prefer to create new law from the bench.

We are a nation of laws as so are other countries so to help in the underground railroad was wrong? Those that help the Jews to escape the death camps were wrong? Those that defied the segregation laws were wrong? Those that liberated those from Sadem's torture chambers were wrong. Those that defied King George's laws were wrong? If we are to believe that not following the laws are wrong than we as a country would never had existed but instead been under the thumb of England.
Thank God our forefathers did not have a problem with defying the laws. LAWS, LAWS, LAWS, LAWS can never be broken. Take a hard look at some of these Islam counties and their laws....Folks, the death camps are coming unless we stop it.

Hey you. Nice to see you back on FR.

Watch out, PD. You're making too much sense here.
