Who manufactured the video card - GeForce is the model of NVidia video chip on the card, but it's the manufacturer of the card who decided on what additional cables and adaptors to include in the kit. Most likely, very likely, Alienware included the adaptors for not one, but two VGA monitors, as this card, with adaptors, will readily work with dual DVI, DVI+VGA, dual VGA, or DVI + TV.

I'll find out who makes it tomorrow. I started to panic because I had ordered a big cheap VGA monitor, and then noticed today that the card was dual DVI. DVI-I is probably the standard.
