To: Echo Talon; general_re

It's an Alienware computer. I'm not sure where they get thier nvidia cards. I have been looking around, and every place I find just says DVI. Not -I, or -D. I found one site that said Nvidia only uses DVI-I, but the post was six months old.

go to their site and email them. alienware.com they should have tech support. or open the case and look at the card and see whos name is on it.

Alienware would not be my first choice for a computer. Their rating on Resellerratings.com is 6.09 out of 10.00 . Several vendors rate above 9.00, also with hundreds of reviews and ratings submitted. See their Top Stores page for a list.

Don't feel too bad -- there are worse.

Sounds like you're planning on getting a really good box there. That video card is top end, and Alienware produces some really sexy stuff, even if it's not the cheapest priced on the block.
