In June 2004, Alienware announced they were first to market with the PNY NVIDIA GEFORCE 6800 ULTRA.

Yes - likely it's DVI-I, as I see that mentioned on another PNY page.

If it's this PNY card, then the spec says VGA or DVI monitor compatible: GeForce™ 6600 GT PCI Express® .
