If you think there'll be a corruption probe after Terri's death, stop dreaming

It feels like the Easter weekend that Elian was snatched and sent to Cuba. I was depressed for a week after that. One thing that DID happen, though, is that Gore lost Florida because the Cubans were so engergized, and angered, over this tyrannical act.

So now, in 2005, a lot of freepers, depressed over Terri's judicially decreed killing, are trying to take some solace from the possibility (as they imagine it) that some good will come out of it: A corruption probe into murky doings in Pinellas County, or into the background, finances of Michael Schiavo - and his treatment of Terri --. LET ME BE THE FIRST TO THROW COLD WATER ON YOUR EXPECTATIONS. NOBODY IS GOING TO LAUNCH THESE INVESTIGATIONS. IF THERE'S CORRUPTION, THE LOCAL POLICE AND SHERIFF HAVEN'T BEEN DOING ANYTHING UP TO NOW - SO DON'T EXPECT THEM TO CHANGE. AND THE STATE? WHY WOULD JEB BUSH LAUNCH AN INVESTIGATION THAT MIGHT UNEARTH CORRUPTION BEHIND THE DEATH-MANDATE OF TERRI? TURNING UP DIRT WOULD ONLY MAKE HIM LOOK WORSE FOR NOT ACTING TO STAND UP TO THE LAWLESS JUDGE - AND TO SAVE TERRI. No, the secrets of this backwater hick county will remain secret. And my newly made resolution never NEVER to visit Florida will be a lifetime promise to myself. I can smell the stench from here, and it's overpowering enough without getting anywhere near the rotten state.

IIRC, California law allows the executor of one's estate to sue on behalf of the estate - in that case, the executors were the parents, as both were unmarried at the time. Even if Florida law makes the same allowance, Michael Schiavo is still the executor of his wife's estate, and still the only one with standing to sue. The laws vary somewhat from state to state, but I don't know of any way that her parents can do it.

Well then , I guess there will be only one left to sort this out.
And when He does there will be a very crowded one way train to hell.

Also, quite frankly, I think Terri's folks need a new team of lawyers.

I was reading the Not Dead Yet site, which is a left-leaning disability rights group. They brought up that Terri's being deprived of food and water is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. I think it's a pretty good argument. After all, we wouldn't starve somebody to death in, say, prison, would we? She is only being deprived of food and water because she's disabled. I wish Terri's lawyers had used that argument.

There needs to be a DO NOT FORGET TERRI campaign. The Hospice needs to be closed down. Doctors need to lose their license. Police need to fired. All judges involved need to be dismissed. The judicial system needs to be a complete overhaul. Felos and Shivio need to be sued for wrongful death and prosecuted.
People need to take a major stand or this to will happen once again!

They need to have a change of venue, which those corrupt scumbags in Florida will not allow. We need to overhaul the justice system and get this stopped.

But we the people need to occupy until his return. We need to change our corrupt judicial system and government. It is time for the people to take a stand many people once died to give us our rights and freedoms and our founding fathers would be disgusted by what is now occurring here. We need to take America back. Overhaul the taxes to so that it will only take one person in a family to work.

America lets get with it and take our country back.

It is time we organize and get the sheep to see the wolf. Time to start a NEVER FORGET TERRI campaign. Time to take America back. Borders, judicial, taxes and all. We need to make our country what our founding fathers once intended it to be. And get out of the UN.Get us out of UNESCO too.

Yes, America is on trial. We have only ourselves to blame. We did nothing to stop them.

This is exactly right! If, we the people, allow such injustice, moreover preserving the sanctity of life, we deserve what rule we get.

Rush made an excellent point about the Lesgislative branch having basic constitutional authority over the Judical branch, article 3. The Judical branch is NOT the final say, we have it backwards today.

The fact that congress has not stepped in and overruled these usurping judges tells us alot about where we are at in this country.

As I've stated before, there needs to be a backlash of biblical preportion started against the judical branch and congress for not fulfilling their obligations to represent the people as we deem.

If we allow death over life, just because of HEARSAY, we are doomed to fail, and everyone knows this.

We better start feeling VERY uncomfortable!
