but what did you mean by Bob Schindler damning his daughter to Hell? You ask him. He's the one who made that remark, and I find that remark repugnant. No father would say such a thing to their daughter, particularly in this case.

(I pray to the LORD " Let Terri go home. Jesus is waiting for her with open arms. Amen!")

Do you have a source for that? A link or something? I mean, that is an incredible statement and I'd like some verification as to whether it was really said...
Thanks.

Please don't take this as me questioning your integrity, but I think you need to prove to me that he said it before you condemn him for it, and that it would need to be clear from the content that he was not misspeaking, i.e., sying "Terri" when he meant to say "Michael" or saying "she" when he meant to say "he." If the man thought his daughter deserved to go to hell he wouldn't be planning to take her home and care for her for a decade or so.

(If this case were a TV movie, Columbo would be showing up everywhere Michael Schiavo goes.)

You have to check your facts before you jump to conclusions. First, I am not entirely sure it was her father who said this. It may have been the family's lawyer. And second, the "condemned to hell" comment was made in regards to asking to be killed (at least as the court has decided she asked) is a mortal sin and very well would condemn Terri to Hell in Catholic theology.
